BackgroundTranspedicular screws have proven the test of time, yet they are not devoid complications. Many newer techniques such as 2 D and 3D fluoroscopy,O arm Navigation assisted surgery, robotic surgery come into existence to increase precision in pedicle screw insertion. We propose an Extra pedicular hook system (EPSH) with similar biomechanical property, better safety profile short learning curve compared traditional screw.PurposeTo Compare pull out strength Traditional Pedicle Vs system(EPSH).MethodsBiomechanical testing was conducted according ASTM F543 guidelines compare pull-out EPSH based construct construct. Six saw bone samples each group considered. Screw 5.5 mm diameter length 35 used both groups. Pull assessed by giving 5 mm/min axial load.
